Who do we need?
A great developer proficient with Ruby on Rails, with the following key attributes:
- Experience & knowledge in working with Ruby & Ruby on Rails (Essential)
- Understanding of Postgres database
- Experience in working with Git
Some key responsibilities include:
Site Development
You are responsible of maintaining our site, identifying and fixing bugs, and implementing feature improvements as required. We’d also love to hear your great ideas on how we can improve the site, and implementing it once we agree on how it could be shaped.
Server Management
Take the role of server administrator using the Amazon Web Services platform. You will design, install, administer, and optimize company’s cloud based servers and related components to achieve high performance of the various business applications supported by tuning the servers as necessary.
Skill Requirements
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have the following skills:
• Programming languages: Ruby
• WWW technologies: HTML5, CSS Javascript. Jquery, AJAX
• Postgres database
• System/ Server management, web hosting experience highly regarded.
The applicant should be familiar to Agile workflows, Automated testing, Code review and the Git version control system are highly regarded.
