Guillotine / Folder Operator needed
• Location is east of the CBD
• An opportunity to join a friendly team on a casual or full time position
Applicant must have an Australian Passports.
A vacancy exists for an experienced Guillotine and Folding Operator.
This position is responsible for the following:
• Assume responsibility for shift guillotining operations including pre-guillotining preparation
• Understand and strictly enforce security procedures within the area
• Ensure all guillotining is performed to quality specifications.
• Change blades for sharpening when necessary.
• Program guillotining machines to cut to the specifications of various jobs.
We are seeking candidates who meet the following requirements:
• Trade qualifications in Print Finishing or relevant experience in the industry
• A clear understanding of product standards and operational procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to open communication, really important for us -honesty, and a positive attitude towards the owner and other employees
• Ability to work on a Horizon machine.
• Ability to recognise potential problems solves them, generate solutions and implement these.
• Ability to program guillotine machines in order to cut a diverse range of jobs.
• Work as a folding operator before and know their duties
